The Philippines is somewhat successful in its vaccination drive because of the low positivity rate of Covid infection in the country. This resulted to the staging of more live events. Pageantry has also taken advantage of the opportuity to stage their live finals with live audiences. Hiyas ng Pilipinas and Miss Universe Philippines both had successful runs. Miss World Philippines is set to stage their MOA comeback on June 5th while the inaugural Miss Aura Philippines will be staged on June 25th. Mutya Pilipinas is also more likely to be staged live. Miss Earth Philippines and Binibining Pilipinas is set for their July 31st finals. With Bb. Pilipinas successfully mounted their Santacruzan, it is more likely to have their live staging too and Miss Earth Philippines set to bring only 20 girls to the finals night in a rumored venue (in Palawan).
I just noticed that MEP is still having virtual events. The Fuana event on facebook is really boring, although they have already announced that they will do a hybrid this year but if this is also the same format of what they will have for Miss Earth 2022, then I'd like to know how will this sit with you earthlings?
Are you okay to see only 20 international ladies competing for the final crown and have the rest perform on a virtual stage again?
I'd like to hear your thoughts.
