Very true. Miss International's cancellation isn't something surprising; the reason why people are having a problem with it is because there are already a number of contestants waiting to compete; along with that, they are considering the fact that the reigning Miss International should at least be able to pass her title soon in order to fulfill more commitments. Given that, pageants that encourage hatred should just stop the hate already.mybadname wrote:Misso's question - lakas makabobo. Buti nga ang Miss Earth despite the situation was able to conduct a pageant without skipping any year whereas Miss International has skipped two successive years and Miss World skipped once. Now don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that we should not consider Miss international as a major pageant even it is a boring one. But what I'm trying to imply here is that we should not consider both skipping the years and virtual as criteria for being a major or a minor. After all, kayo lang nman ang mga naglalaban laban kung major or minor ang isang pageant. walang paki ang mga owner nyan as long as kumikita sila. Si Know What lang naman ang praning sa title na yan.

Even though it was done virtually, the effort was commendable.
I'd rather have a virtual show than no show at all.
The question is "Do you still consider Miss International a major pageant for not making an effort for two tears? No
offense meant Xamurai. I am just driving home a point!
I personally don't buy into the fight regarding "major" vs "minor" pageants.
INSTEAD, I SUPPORT ALL QUEENS AND THEIR MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS REGARDLESS OF THE SYSTEM.
