She is actually the BEST choice in the current MESA batch (as it was pretty weak). She has experience in an environmental pageant and is a performer and looks great in motion. I have watched here in Miss Eco. Now, is she the strongest in Africa, not at all, but we all know she will ace the interview round. Might even top it.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to visit the facilities of Tinglar Eco Store, a Dominican store focused on biodiversity conservation through responsible consumption. A 100% Dominican enterprise that has how purpose that we all have access to the possibility of leading an environmentally friendly life, go little by little; some habits are achieved faster than others, start with small actions and simplicity is the key.
Organic products available like soaps, deodorants, shampoo, lip mask, masks, creams, sunscreen, toothpaste and household cleaning supplies. The space is divided by cleaning products, personal products, pet products, and a children's area with cloth diapers and items that encourage early education and stimulation. Thank you @tinglarecostore , Diana and all the staff of @yohanature for opening your doors and guiding us on the path of sustainability and responsible consumption. Let's support our local producers while making more eco-friendly choices in our daily lives.
Eco-Activity: Appreciating Nature by the SEA
Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads. By discovering nature, you discover yourself.
Eco-Activity: Stone Water Spouts (Eco touristic spot)
The stone water spouts— known as dhunge dhara in Nepali were the only source of water for many people in the Kathmandu valley until a few decades ago. These spouts were used for rainwater harvesting and a place for meetup. However, almost half of the city’s 400 spouts have disappeared by urban sprawl and groundwater depletion. These are the hidden gems of Nepal which reflect our rich culture and our eco-conscious traditions.
Eco-Activity: Ebute Ilaje Bariga Community Immersion
There can be no better substitute in being at the ground zero, seeing with my own eyes and personally experiencing what the community is undergoing. Through the Ebute Ilaje, Bariga community, I was exposed to the truth that the environmental conflict is more than just saying 'this can be done'.
The Community-Based Participatory Approach gave us a potential solution by diving into the psyche of the people to uncover the true nature of conflict. From planning, reconfiguration, strengthening the capacity for sustainable innovations, the community itself must be a part, and find solutions to their own challenges.
Eco-Activity: Save the Monarch Butterfly
This summer 2022, the colorful monarch butterfly was classified as an endangered species. Their population is now less than 250,000 butterflies in North America.
Monarchs breed only where milkweeds are found, and milkweed are dying due to pesticides and climate change. According to the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF), climate change has disrupted the monarch butterfly’s annual migration pattern by affecting weather conditions in both wintering grounds and summer breeding grounds.
As we approach the Halloween season, you will begin seeing more symbols of the beautiful monarch butterfly in artwork and decor. This is because, according to traditional belief, the monarchs are the souls of ancestors who are returning to Earth for their annual visit. The monarch is symbolic of All Souls Day observed on November 2.

Eco activity: Cleaning up a UNESCO Heritage site
Every year, billions of pounds of plastic end up in the world’s oceans. Studies estimate there are now 15–51 trillion pieces of plastic in the world’s oceans. And constantly a huge amount of it end up being washed off the shores, making our beaches a real mess and putting in danger not only the well being of the ocean but also the sites of archaeological objects . Together with @deapqatar we cleaned Al Zubara UNESCO Heritage site . The majority of plastic pollution in the ocean is caused by littering: we buy or use disposable plastic items (food wrappings, plastic bags, razors, bottles, etc.) and do not dispose of them properly, which cause them to end up in the waterways and eventually in the ocean.
Eco-Activity: Community Service
Together with the volunteers of the “Community Service Day” program at Shaumba School in Kinshasa, we practiced social responsibility and “salongo” – a Lingala word for cleaning up common spaces in the community. Students happily participated, learning about the benefits of using sustainable and reusable products and materials, and the first class to finish was surprised with a trophy. #Beafriendoftheenvironment.
Eco-Activity: Work together to preserve our environment
As Miss Earth Kosovo, I want to protect our environment in Kosovo and maintain a sustainable ecosystem.
That's why I met the mayor of Peja, Gazmend Muhaxherri to discuss about the issues and what I can do to help.
Gazmend Muhaxherri works hard to raise awarness about the environment and to keep Peja beautiful and clean.
Together we can achieve more.
Eco-Activity: Recycled Art
Recycled art is a specific type of creative work made from discarded materials. So this could be anything from old CDs, plastic bottle caps, toys to tires to cans or scraps of cloth. On a superficial level, recycled art can be defined as creative productions that make use of waste or discarded objects.
This art can include any materials that have been discarded, as the sky is the limit when it comes to what this type of art can be made from. At its core, recycled art is about repurposing materials and nature conservation. The underlying message behind all recycled art is in the title itself: recycle. As long as the materials used in the piece were discarded, there’s really no limit to what can be used and what the pieces can look like. They can vary from large scale to miniature, from two-dimensional pieces to three dimensional. It’s a growing movement but, though it’s popularity has surged recently, it isn’t an entirely foreign concept.
Using plastics in painting not only helps eliminate waste but also sends a strong message to viewers about the benefits of conservation. Here’s to saving the planet, one sculpture at a time.
Eco-Activity: Good seed, good harvest
Today we took a tour of the Carlos Spegazzini Botanical Garden and Arboretum of the Faculty of Agronomic and Forestry Sciences of the National University of La Plata, where different native and foreign species are found.
We carried out the collection of seeds of Parapiptadenia rigida or Anchico colorado with the team of the Municipal Nursery of Berisso. This kind of tree is native of the forest of Misiones and for that reason we have decided to plant them in the green spaces of the city.
Along the way we came across a Salvator Merianae which was regulating its temperature in the sun, we observed it from afar so as not to disturb it. Salvador is a genus of lizards also known as the Argentine the black and white tegu and the overo lizard.
Eco-Activity: Change an Animals Life
During the pandemic I had the opportunity to adopt two cats and welcome them into my home. I encourage everyone who is looking for an extra furry family member, to please take a look at animal shelters or rescues to find cats and dogs worthy of a new home.
Every time an animal is adopted, a space opens up in the shelter or the rescue. So when you adopt a cat or dog, not only are you saving that animal’s life, but you are also opening up a space for another animal’s life to be saved.
Eco-Activity: Seoul Biker
Biking is one of my favorite ways to commute around the city of Seoul. Specifically, these adorable green bikes are called 따릉이 (Ttareungyi). Ttareungyi is a public bike rental system which was designed to promote Korea’s national vision ‘Low Carbon, Green Growth’ by resolving issues pertaining to traffic congestion, carbon emission, and increasing gas prices in Seoul. Throughout the years, Ttareungyi has been receiving increasing popularity as many Korean citizens decide to make green alternative choices. Not to mention, biking is one of the best forms of cardio.
If you have plans to visit our wonderful city, make sure to check out Seoul’s Ttareungyi. Maybe our paths may cross
Eco-Activity: 10 Tips that we can improve and raise awareness
In many of our countries, we experience hurricanes, and other atmospheric disasters that cause our bodies of water to overflow, in addition to coastal erosion. That is why I want to share with you 10 Tips that we can improve and raise awareness about what we must do to improve this type of situation
Eco-Activity: Interview with the President of FurryKids SafeHaven NGO
I want to see a Malaysia that is very dog friendly, which is why I have chosen the Miss Earth platform to help me reach this goal.
I had the privilege of interviewing Miss Kiran Bhatt, the President of FurryKids SafeHaven which is the largest dog shelter in the state of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. They have about 2000 dogs at the shelter and have helped thousands of dogs outside the shelter as well. She shared many stories with me, including her experiences when the lockdown happened in Malaysia and the number of dog dumping cases increased drastically. Miss Kiran also shared a lot of positive advise on how we can help stray dogs in Malaysia at our own level of capacity.
I hope that many more individuals can play a role in making the lives of stray dogs better. Dogs serve humans in so many ways, as police dogs, therapy animals and even to sniff out various diseases. We need to work hard to look after dogs, a Woman’s Best Friend.
The full video is about 50 minutes long, and these were some of the highlights.

What is her pageant background? I wasn't really expecting Melanie and Ayusa (more like Jolene but it feels impossible now), but she is a decent candidate. However, they shouldn't expect another placement for this year. Asia is already crowded enough.

What do you think are her chances? I say she has some work to do before the preliminaries. Asia is an uphill battle.
