Excited to announce I will be participating in Miss Colorado USA in a few days!!
I was told multiple times that I should leave the pageantry chapter behind because I’m in school for nursing now.
A womens skills and intelligence are not defined by her physical appearance. Anyone can be multifaceted especially women; you can
be a mother and a CEO. You can model & wear scrubs. You can wear a crown and be an entrepreneur. You can wear a pageant gown
AND a stethoscope all while still embracing your feminine qualities.
Regardless of the outcome, it is SO much more than the tittle for me. It’s sharing a message about preserving thru adversity. I will not
stop advocating for my platform: Empowering youth of low income school districts, helping them fulfill their greatest potential regardless
of where they reside. As someone who grew up with adversity, I too had to face many of the same challenges the youth in our time our
facing. However, my single mother made sure I was in a school district that could deliver great education and after school programs.
I believe everyone should have the same opportunity but I know, not everyone is blessed with the chance to.
Because of that, I want to use the Miss CO organization platform to not only bring awareness but create an after school program that helps
all youth -focusing on the districts that lack resources. Using volunteers to educate on different topics such as;skilled trade careers,
how to start an LLC , file taxes, apply for scholarships, cryptocurrency, interact with law enforcement, build good credit etc. Essentially,
the goal would be to lower the dropout rate & raise the graduation one by encouraging w/ different options.
I want to show that sparkle comes from somewhere deeper inside, somewhere so pure, authentic and REAL. That It does NOT need gloss,
polish or glitter to shine.
So Blessed to have been chosen for this great experience with such empowering women

She is already confirmed here as Colorado delegate but she is still competing in Miss Colorado USA days from now. What if she wins Colorado? Will she compete in both pageants?

I saw that too. My guess is that after she secured the Miss Earth Colorado title, she decided to compete in Miss Colorado USA. So even if she doesn’t win, she can still compete at MEUSA in January. Or perhaps she decided not to compete in Miss Earth anymore. I suppose we’ll have to see if she is replaced.
Personally, not a fan of what she’s doing.
