Yes exactly! This is one advantage of having different national contest in one country. Since "The Big F-O-U-R" have their own criteria and cannot be put in the same mold.
I remember in 2009 I read about Alison Capron Miss Turks & Caicos interview when she heard that her national pageant will send the winner to Miss Earth (cause usually its both for Miss Universe and ME), she jumped at the chance!
Also in Miss Universe Norway? (If my memory serves me right and I forgot the year) one aspiring contestant was interviewed and she said Miss Earth is what she's aiming for but unfortunately she did not win
Also we heard the same sentiments from past aspiring beauty queens in Ms Phil Earth that they only want Miss Earth
KF was training Jamie Herrell for a different national pageant but she made it clear that her goal is to win Miss Earth.
Ponkan also grabbed the opportunity to be Miss Earth Vietnam when they had a casting because she was inspired by Miss Earth after watching Miss Earth 2010 in her country

Miss Chiangmai is under Dr.Noom Adisorn who held MET franchise in 2016-2017
He glad to support Thidaporn to MET competition as she wanna chase her dream by wearing Thailand sash on international state. Moreover, it will be her last beauty contest because her age is 27 now.

I want a queen who really want the title of Miss Earth. Hope to see one when the final roster is revealed.

Oh yeah, speaking about the latest three Miss Earth winners, their goal was to be Miss Earth from the very beginning.
We'll see about the background of the potential Miss Earth Thailand candidates. So far, the two confirmed MET candidates have already an impressive background in relation to the advocacy. I guess that just shows also that they are really for Miss Earth, maybe they don't know that yet.
