Isabella García-Manzo was crowned Miss El Salvador 2023 (aka “Miss Universe El Salvador 2023”) at the finale of the national pageant held on Sunday, 30th July 2023 at the “Teatro Nacional” de San Salvador. Isabella has now become the official ~HOST QUEEN~ of El Salvador at the “Miss Universe 2023” pageant.

The election of the new winner sparked controversy due to accusations of favoritism because the public expected that the great favorite Fátima Cuéllar to be the winner.
Rumours had that the contestants were planning to sue the organisation over defamation.
Two of the Semifinalists have been vocal about the whole incident ever since the mishap took place: “Our editorial team zoomed in Facebook profile and tried to cover her side of the story, and what we found was not what we expected”.

Isabella is now preparing to welcome over 80 delegates from around the world. This will be the second time Miss Universe competition will take place in the country; the first time it hosted Miss Universe was in 1975.

The 72nd edition of Miss Universe, is scheduled to be held in San Salvador, El Salvador on 18th November 2023 where Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel of Texas, will crown her successor at the end of the Crowning Gala.

You’re not the only one. I find Thailand overhyped. Sure she’s pretty, but her beauty is not memorable. She looks like any typical pretty Whasian girl. Thailand also lacks substance in her speeches. It may sound good cuz she can speak English fluently, but she doesn’t answer the question with accuracy or conviction. She reminds me of Miss USA who didn’t really answer her Q&A. Philippines on the other hand is a woman of substance and with real advocacies near and dear to her heart. I also find her beauty more intriguing and mysterious. She has a much stronger stage presence than Thailand. To me, Michelle beats Anntonia in all aspects, beauty, brain, advocacy, and stage presence. Having said that, do I think that Thailand will go far? Absolutely. MUO loves Whasian girls and the fact that the owner is Thai will have something to do with her placement.

I think in SEA, Philippines is the flag bearer. Noone can deny her star quality and confidence. I wonder if she is famous in the Philippines. Her face is very oriental which is unique. Thailand is second. There is a big gap between Philippines + Thailand vs the rest. Whatever it is, Vietnam is at the bottom of the list. Probably the worst contestant that we have ever sent to Miss Universe. She will place by the fanvote tho. I heard that her org is finding sponsors to buy votes for her just to save their face from the rigged national pageant.

Honestly all of these longstanding franchises should have kept their licenses. I still believe that the only franchises that lost their licenses only did so because Anne gave the licenses to her friends. These organizations had been running pageants in their countries for many years and knew what they were doing, and now we have controversies in almost all of the Southeast Asian countries which changed licenses, no? Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam should all just go back to whoever was organizing things in the past, they were doing a fine enough job.

Exactly, UniCorp produced a world class show for MUV last year. This year’s show was a disaster. It couldn’t be more boring. Not to mention, they rigged it shamelessly. Thank God, the camera caught everything.

The current Miss Universe Vietnam is currently working as one of the mentors of Miss Earth Vietnam 2023. I actually like her in Miss Earth Vietnam coz I love her personality and fighting spirit. She seems to be a nice gal. I was so surprised to learn yesterday that she and the new crowned Miss Universe Vietnam are the same.

She is beautiful and engaging in motion. Though, my bets were Emma and Houng. Watch the Episode 5 of Miss Earth Vietnam in Global Section and you will see that she has tons of personality, creative and very passionate. She is more beautiful in motion that in photos. Good luck to her.

Haha, now you can see how obviously powerful she is. As many other contestants have to follow the competition's schedule strictly, she could join the Miss Earth Vietnam reality show. Her parents are powerful person in the State Cultural Department which manage all the showbiz and entertainment activities in Vietnam. There is rumors that through her parents and with their money, she bought the Gold prize of Vietnam Super Model Contest in 2018 in which Khanh Van, Miss Universe Vietnam 2019, could only be the Silver although she was the one to beat.

Krishna was well suited for Supra, if not for the rumors that Pauline was hand picked by the Supra team because of her hordes of stans and they hype she can bring to the competition. She was best in SS as well, what do you mean she isnt memorable? Angelique Manto was the only one who answered the first round of QA properly with good form, good meat and good pacing, although she should have went Bb instead, there is where she belongs. Even CJ Opiaza was robbed of the EG award, there is NO WAY IN HELL that MMD deserved that. Until we are assured that MMD has purged herself of that tacky catwalk, that summoned all the past winners and the ancestors of MGI, I am not going to bother with her. It's really, really HARD to support a tramoya when you know there are better girls than her.

Pakistan was born and bred in her country.

She is much more legit than American / Australian girls who go to compete for Miss Philippines, Thailand, Nigeria.. who speak with American accents and don’t even speak the native tongues of the countries they are representing at Miss Universe.

Anntonia's only advantage so far: she was a former Miss Supranational winner. Some people assumed that she is a crown contender just because she won in the previous Big 5 pageant and we saw Catriona and Andrea won Miss Universe in 2018 & 2020 respectively despite they were finished in the Top 5 at Miss World before. They also compared Anntonia to Lara Dutta who won Miss Intercontinental 1997 and Miss Universe 2000.

New York clapped at Miss USA 2023 despite most of the forumers and pageant fan page think that she was a crown contender until her so-so preliminary performance costed her the judges' Top 19 choice. New York's non-placement at Miss USA 2023 is a sign/warning that anything can still happen at Miss Universe 2023 even the perceived crown contenders can still be clapped if they are half-stepping or too complacent at the pageant.

Miss Denmark organization, through their official social media, announced the reigning “MISS DENMARK” Nikoline Uhrenholt Hansen as “Miss Universe Denmark 2023” and will now prepare to represent Denmark at “Miss Universe 2023”.
Nikoline was crowned “MISS DENMARK 2023” at the finale of the national pageant held on 27th August 2023 in Cirkusbygningen.

Through her reign, Nikoline hopes to encourage equality in society and hopes to contribute to a world where people have the same opportunities no matter who you are. She has also worked with Danish Heart Organization and won the best charity ambassador award for the same.

In an opinion of Adam Genato think that MUO's bidding scheme is for business transparency use because they are losing money & they needed to overcome the budget problems. Unfortunately Puteri & Unicorp fell into this problems and another theory think that BPCI, Puteri & Unicorp's policies are outdated to them?
