Look at MUO, binitiwan na ang Ms. USA para maka-focus sa Miss Universe at for me, para less politics sa national pageant winner ng bawat bansa (usa at pinas). It's both disadvantage and advantage din for the girls kasi kapag may di gusto sa ugali ng girl ang org, ligwak kagad like Imelda tapos kapag favorite ng org, kahit di ganon ka competitive, pasok sa banga (di ko papangalanan, marami yan). Tapos people will react negatively tapos bias na kagad pambato. At least kahit pinas uli manalo o mag-place less ang pag question ng bashers.
Sana magkatotoo talaga to.

Is this true wala na ang Miss USA sa MUO?

I don't think this will ever happen. Bakit bibitiwan?
MUO change of ownership and management and losing valuable revenue and sponsors for that matter is hardly a model to emulate. There's hardly a semblance of parallelism between the two orgs in this aspect! MUO's race was run. MUO has dimmed. The pundits are one in saying that MUO is on the way out.
Lorraine built ME from a fledgling start-up. Through thick and thin, MEO endeavored to evolve being Lorraine's and R Monzon's pet baby! You don't hear the couple complain about cash flows and finances publicly. With Ramon Monzon at the helm, MEO revenue stream stands robust! It's unthinkable they'll look for a buyer and pass on the brand to someone else, lest an industry rival and a competitor. Assume, MEO may have bled over its infancy years of which they're in much better status as at today, what benefit would the MEO owners obtain in "selling" ME to a prospective taker? Convince me. Nada, zilch, waley.
So this ugly talk about ME being taken over or sold to BPCI's proud matriarch lacks basis but capricious and an offshoot of someone else's wild imagination. In matters of fact, the recent ME global virtual staging garnered many "firsts" in the industry. This has resulted to ME generating more talk, earning laudable publicity and a decent following even among its rivals, elder and the recent start-up.
Why sell then when MEO ain't broke?

Hi, Beautywatchnyc. First off, I am fan so it's an honor that you replied to me. anyway, i agree with you, especially on the ME side. My wish, as what the threadstarter said, is for the MPE to be given to Bb. Pilipinas, and not ME. Though I read before that MPE actually yields more productivity to Carousel than ME so baka di nga bibitawan. It's just wishful thinking on my part para mas maka-focus ang Carousel sa ME to make it the greatest pageant that it deserves to be.

Hi Hello, sad to say MSMdeA and Ms Lorraine and a retinue of amigas on either side do not see eye to eye with the Matriarch of Cubao. The unheralded rivalry and isnaban between the two beauty queen maker and their loyalist camp dates a long way back. It's no longer necessary to cite the reasons but I don't think MPE where ME has evolved from shall be handed easily in a silver platter to the matriarch of Cubao. And even if it was offered with no strings attached, knowing the persona of MSMdeA, I also don't think that she would gladly welcome MPE with open arms in her mantle. Believe when I say.

I saw a video last year wherein Nelly attended a party together with Carousel Production's Executive and MSMdeA was also there.

Hi Hello, sad to say this but it's common knowledge MSMdeA and Mdm Lorraine including a retinue of amigas on either side of the spectrum don't see eye. The unspoken rivalry and dedmahan between the two queen makers and respective staunch loyalist camp date a long way back. The contra sentiments levelled against each other are mutually inclusive if I may. The beauty pageant community in this country is not that complex. It is no secret why these women stalwarts avoid each other's path. Enough reason why II don't see MPE handed in a silver platter to the proud matriarch of BPCI. And even if MPE were floated with no string attached, psyching up MSMdeA's persona, I won't buy the idea of MSMdeA ingesting her fiery amor propio and accept or welcome MPE with wide open arms as being the new addition under her mantle. Be that as it may, believe when I say.
A "mother" abandoning it own "daughter" prematurely, or vice versa, seem daunting proposition. Seems untenable in my opinion.

Yeah, I agree. I've heard that before that the two mesdames do not meet eye to eye - even during the Mutya ng Pilipinas days pa. Bb. Pilipinas kasi needs another major title for it to survive. Anyway, wishful thinking here hehe
