The only runner-up that I didn't really like was Laura in 2017. How the hell did she manage to place further than Keysi Sayago (Venezuela) who was the best Latina that year!?
2015
Pia - You can tell she prepared for the Q&A, she aced her delivery and was a bit nervous but she had such a witty and memorable answer. She was just okay during swimsuit but her evening gown was one of the best ones in the IMG era. She didn't have to show much skin just to wow people.
Ariadna - She would have easily won if this is not IMG era. The fierce supermodel Trump vibe is what she embodied.
2016
Iris - Very pretty but she was quite forgettable.
Racquel - If she competed in 2019, she would have been Miss Universe. She destroyed Iris in the Q&A and the audience rooted for her in the announcement.
2017
Demi - She was the runaway winner, Laura had no chance. To be honest, she really had no competition.
Laura - She was way too pageant patty, I loved her presentations during swimsuit and evening gown but the whole opening of her mouth while she reacted was too much.
2018
Catriona - She ticked all the boxes and clearly deserved the hype, but watching it back, it was so campy. Her answers were polished to perfection (so as to hype the Pinoy crowd with her knowledge on information about the country: ex. 104 million Filipinos, poor children of Tondo, etc.), you knew that she wanted to maximize the time by talking a lot. Not to mention, the whole lava walk was way too tacky, way too much antics and gimmicks.
Tamaryn - she gave a weak answer but she had a more regal and elegant look. I love that she didn't look like she was trying too hard to win the crown.
2019
Zozibini - She grew on me during the finals. She deserved to win based on how smart she is. Her dress is one of the best ones, it's so unique. If all IMG winners competed in the same year, she would have still won, and this is why she has a lot of bashers. She can win over just by lip service and minimal presentation gimmicks.
Madison - Another one of those who would have won if it was the Trump era. However, I think Sofia Aragon could have edged her easily.
