Of course, Flora became 3rd runner-up of Miss Universe, that was great achievement.
But she wasn’t that year’s main Miss France winner.
I think that’s why Flora remained as 3rd runner-up.
MUO prefer that year’s main winner just like MWO.
Most of Miss Universe winners was that year’s main winner of national pageants.
MUO let them places but doesn’t let them win, MWO don’t let them places.
At least MUO treat runner-ups and past winner better than MWO.
So I’m kinda worry about her result @ Miss Universe 2019. Probably she can’t win Miss Universe.
I don’t think it’s good idea to send runner-ups or past winner to Miss Universe.
However if she shows great prelim performance and gives Q&A answer,
she will be at least Top 3 for sure.
One more thang,
MFO needs to add one more rules in their official rules.

France used to send runners up or former winners to Miss Universe and they all placed very high (2011, 2012, 2015). On the other hand, the main winner of Miss France 2017 Alicia clapped hard at Miss Universe. So i don’t think it’s true that MUO discriminates against the runners up. It’s all about how the girl expresses herself to the judges.

You meant 2013, right? We had sent Hinarani de Longeaux, the first runner-up, but she did not place.
