Miss Universe Chile has a brand new organisation (headed by Eugenio Manzur) and tomorrow's finale will be held in Punta Arenas city, in the extreme south of the country. The pageant features a new format of selection:
The ten finalists will be chosen after the preliminary competition and the interview with the jury. The new regional format will choose two candidates from the zones of Chile (northern, central and southern) with four wildcard spots.
After an opening speech the top ten will be reduced to five, then comes the final question and the crowning.
Two queen will be crowned: Miss Universe Chile 2019 and Reina Hispanoamericana Chile 2019.
Andrea Díaz (Miss Universe Chile 2018) will not attend the finale. Her first runner-up, Sabina Ahumada, will crown the new winner.
