WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL COVERAGE OF MISS WORLD PHILIPPINES 2019
Everyone is encouraged to post pictures and videos of contestants.
The 9th edition of Miss World Philippines will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sept. 15, 2019.
Other titles at stake are Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas, Miss Eco Philippines, Miss Multinational Philippines, and Miss Tourism Philippines!
Reigning Miss World Philippines 2018, Katarina Rodriguez; Miss Eco International 2018 1st RU, Maureen Montagne; Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2018, Alyssa Alvarez; and Miss Multinational Philippines 2018, Kimi Mugford will crown their successors at the end of the event.
ABOUT MISS WORLD PHILIPPINES
It is a beauty pageant in the Philippines that selects the country's representative to the Miss World contest, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants.
The pageant also selects three other representatives to participate in minor international pageants such as Reina Hispanoamericana, Miss Eco International, and Miss Multinational. In addition the organizer of the pageant also held its male counterpart Mister World Philippines to pick representatives to participate in Mister World, Mister Supranational, and Mister Eco International.
The pageant is inspired by the Miss World Ltd.'s slogan "Beauty with a Purpose" and henceforth adopted the theme "Beauty in Giving."
The winner and her court work with charities that benefit children in need and also join movements of supporting women and children's rights and other advocacy.

I wonder ano ang magiging final speech ng biteranang Katarina Dimaranan, este Rodriguez pala. Isama niya kaya sa final speech niya na "Who wants to be a millionaire?" pala ang sinalihan niya at hindi patimapalok kagagahan, I mean kagandahan. Hahahaha!!! Maganda si Katarina, at ang lakas ng confidence, pero sana nakuntento na lang siya sa 1st RU niya sa Interconnect the dots. Kung di siya sumali, malamang sa alamang si Maureen Montang ang nanalo.
Oh well, good luck sa mga magpapascreen na girls. As I've said in another thread, just treat your Miss World Philippines experience as a stepping stone for a greater calling, which is Bb. Pilipinas / MUP / Miss Universe.

Pero alam naman nating lahat na deep inside (kahit anu pang pag campaign at pag-hype natin sa delegate natin) na walang magiging MW na Pinay in coming years or so dahil sa LACK OF MERITORCACY ng pageant nato!

I’m sorry but Lorraine was nowhere near the league of Valerie. A legit model who got booked in NYFW was deliberately snubbed by Julia because we didn’t host the pageant after Megan won.
