The quality of aspirants drastically improved and the clamour to win is higher
Thailand is at this point and I can foresee a winner from their end in the next 5 years. They are slowly warming up to the formula of Miss Universe and I think they have so many girls who are worthy to win the crown. Along with Thailand is Vietnam but I think they are lagging behind TH.

In 2017 Mareeya Poonlertlarp was my favorite to win, and I think the majority expected her victory.
But the final night, she was very nervous on stage, her response in the Interview competition was not the best and then she did not reach the Top 3

Isn't this fahsai? Paweensuda is the Indian girl who competed with sophida. ......anyway getting top 15 is easier because competition is per continent .asians dont have to go head to head with mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, usa ,etc

Mareeya, got the hardest or the "not so pageant patty" question in the top 5.
Hence, I think that the top 5, should be asked the same question or bring back the fish ball.
