Febles, during a press conference held at the Meridian Events Center "The Rooftop", specified some details that will be implemented this edition in the Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2019, including the return of the contest to Santo Domingo.
Other novelties offered tonight was that the prominent publicist Iván Ruiz will be responsible for the production of the show where the new sovereign of Dominican beauty will be elected.
Iván, winner of the Sovereign in the category presenting the year, has had the most recent performance of the Atabey Awards. In addition, the experienced producer is in charge of the daily performance of the "Show of the Noon", so a first production is expected.
The director of the franchise said that after two years of holding the contest in Santiago returns to the Dominican capital for what he thanked the mayor of the city of Corazón, Abel Martínez, the support during 2017 and 2018.
For his part, Ángel Laureano, CEO of Color Vision, said:
"We are very satisfied with the performance of the Miss RD Universe, which becomes one of the most watched beauty shows on Dominican television every year."
This year, according to Laureano, there will be great innovations that "we are sure will impact the national television".
Magali also announced that the official presenters of the Miss Dominican Republic pageant will be the former Puerto Rican Miss Universe Zuleyka Rivera 2006 and the winner in the "Humorist of the Year" category of the Soberano Awards, Juan Carlos Pichardo Jr.
Magali Febles continues to search for the new Miss Dominican Republic Universe with which it aims to conquer the longed for crown of the beauty contest this 2019.
Currently, the contestants to the contest are close to starting an intense training that includes: culture, tourism, makeup, hairstyle, catwalk and more.
"We want this year the candidate representing the country is a worthy representative of Dominican women in all aspects," said the director of the franchise in the Republic.
This year the sovereign of beauty will take prizes valued at three million pesos.
The night was led by the ceremonies master Elitop and Virginia Soriano in a glamorous atmosphere with JP Chenet.
