Why Perla Beltran fell short of winning Miss World?

It has been 11 years since Kaiane Aldorino made a historic victory for Gibraltar at Miss World but most of the netizens were not happy about her win and claimed that Perla Beltran was the "real" winner of the pageant. It took 9 more years for Mexico to get their first Miss World crown.

While most of the netizens disagreed with the results, Exposing Miss World Contest facebook page (owned by an alleged former MWO member) disagreed with the netizens and claimed that Kaiane won fair and square and the judges picked Kaiane over Beltran in the final voting.

Now why do you think Perla and other Mexican beauties prior to Vanessa Ponce's win in 2018 fell short of winning Miss World despite they have more potential to win? Do you think former franchise holder Lupita Jones was one of the factors that MWO let Mexico to get the Miss World title several times?

Next Week: Mariann Birkedal and China factor

I think there's a disadvantage for non-English speakers in MW unless you're Venezuela or China. Who knows, it may have been very close between Kaine and Perla, but at I'd guess at the end they went with the one who can speak English well and therefore easier to work with & that's not to say Kaine didn't deserve it. And I think this because when Mexico did finally win they won with Vanessa who is more fluent in English than the girls before her and well-spoken. Not just Mexico, but all the women that MW has crowned recently all are fluent in English Toni, Vanessa, Manushi, Stephanie and Mireia may have a strong accent, but she is fluent enough to where she didn't need a translator. Maybe MW them self wouldn't want to admit this, but using a translator to answer the final question & lack of English speaking ability is not going to help you win the crown.

Most of the netizens and forumers claimed that Mexico was "robbed" several times at Miss World. They claimed that these beauties have more potential to win the title but MWO is not yet ready at that time (pre-2018).

FELL SHORT? THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE WINNER EACH YEAR. EVERYONE ELSE WILL BE A RUNNER-UP, FINALIST, SEMI-FINALIST OR CLAPPER. PEOPLE TEND TO OVER ANALYZE WHENEVER A BIG FAVORITE COMES CLOSE AND DOESN'T WIN.

Just like Miss Universe favorites who fell short of winning the title. Some Miss World favorites will be featured every week to analyze what went wrong that led them fell short of winning the title despite they were heavy favorites.

Perla's loss to Kaiane made a huge debate by most of the forumers and netizens. I also think why MWO is not yet ready to crown a Mexican beauty (pre-2018) despite most of the us claimed that they have the potential to win.
