Question: The Picture of Temple Dawn (Wat Arun) has always been taken to symbolise Thailand's spirit and landmark. If you became the new Miss Universe Thailand, in what way would you represent yourself as one of the most ICONIC of Thailand ? Please show us your real vision?
Veena: If I have a chance to represent Miss Universe Thailand and come to Miss Universe to represent Thailand, I will represent Thailand with humbleness from being raised to respect others and smiling. As Thailand is known as land of smiles, with these qualities anywhere you travel in this world, you will be able to represent the true meaning of being a Thai. Moreover, we're thought to love our nation, the religion and the king that all Thai people highly value and respect.
Punika: For me I will use Thai Baht coin to symbolise the spirituality of Wat Arun. With this coin I will use as a souvenir and to give to Miss Universe and fellow contestants in Miss Universe. I think it's the best choice to show everyone what our Thai culture and it clearly shows what our Thai culture is made of. Another way I will use my mannerism to represent Thailand in Miss Universe stage because I am proud to be Thai as a real Thai.
Amanda: If I were to represent Thailand honestly, I will show everyone myself because I often get critique of being half-Thai, half-Canadian. But what I wanna say today is I am Thai; I was born to a Thai mother and I could not have been more Thai. So I wanna show you all of me, all of my Thainess because I am a Thai.

However, if I have to put into perspective their stage perfomances, Punika is of course most controlled being a pageant veteran. Veena and Amanda performed their best as well. Among them, Veena has this innate sultriness yet some of her poses/gestures border MGI-ish which is sometimes uncalled for and she should work around on that.
In the final round, their answers were posted in pageant empress and titas of pageantry IGs. Pardon some of the loose translation, like humbleness to humility, mannerism to attitude or values.
My 2 cents. Their final question is so cliche that it will be considered as audition/selection question in Philippine pageantry setting. If the question is asking more than just a representation or iconism (if that is even the word), say legacy or leaving a mark to Thai society and people, Veena's answer is the nearest.
Punika's more of a shade haha!
With the way Amanda answered the question, the thought of Bb. Pilipinas still having the MUP franchise will simply relegate her as filler in top 40.
Given that IMG/MUO are dying to have Thailand as winner, good luck to them justifying Amanda's win then.
If TPN/MUT is fervent in coveting the crown, they should train Amanda asap about geopolitical and societal taboo questions! We all know who faltered when Catriona was asked about Marijuana use, Pia's US military presence and Fahsai's security or privacy.

On another note, I hope that Thai lady who won Miss Supranational joins MUT. Now that's a Miss Universe face.
