"Don’t you just hate it when the day ends and you’re still enjoying your make up that you worked hard on, so instead of washing it off
you just put on a robe and walk around the house like a Queen? (Or alternatively video call everyone you know?)"

"Today I met the Executive Director of United Nations Women and her team. To say I am honored would be an understatement.
I sat down with them in a meeting and told them about my passion for women and children and how
I want to use my platform as Miss Universe to shed light on social issues that affect women and children.
I told them that I want to do everything in my power and capacity to help out wherever and however I can. To use my voice and role responsibly.

I am so excited for my year of reign; for the people I’m going to meet and for the honor of having the opportunity and privilege to impact some lives.
Thank you DR Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka , Ambassador Jerry Matjila, team and @unwomen
for your time and for the incredible meeting. I am truly humbled"

It's such a pitty that after giving a very strong speech on the Miss Universe stage, MUO or IMG or call it however you want, is wasting her potential on been visible and she's only walking on the NY streets...

They seriously downgraded their caliber of a winner as well.

The liar that is Zozibini Tunzi is very “challenged” at best in terms of face, body, and especially character.

Are people still mad about the fact she wore a weave previously? Lmao get over it, she had every right to do it and that's none of your concern.

And yet that doesn't mean her advocacy was wrong in the first place. Don't forget she grew up in a country very much racially divided that is still hurting even up to this day because of it. You don't know what she went through, maybe none of us do here, neither the reason she decided to wear a weave back then in the first place.
So her speech was correct: her country made it hard or even impossible for black people to be recognized as decent human beings, beautiful, or worthy of same opportunities white South African were having. That's something you have no right to judge and say somebody's advocacy is not right. You clearly missed the big picture out of her speech and that's appaling.

It may have been wrong if she wore one during the entire pageant and SA pageant and still gave that speech. But she didn't, she came natural, that was bold to come out looking like that in a beauty pageant, she was strong minded with a strong voice too. She doesn't only stand up for herself, but for other people who face or are facing the same struggles she did in her country. And that's the moment she became a Miss Universe, the moment she gave an answer that connected larger conscientiousness. That's also a reason why her reign was so largely celebrated in international media, and she truly deserved it.

Those are not excuses, but facts. Her background says everything about it. You're just bitter and mad that she secured the money bag and is living her best life, while your girl from USA was plain as hell. Go be mad somewhere else, and worry about something else than a girl wearing a weave. tf.
