RECENT CROWNED MISS USA 2019 :!! CHESLIE KRYST

At the grand coronation night of Miss USA 2019 held tonight at the Grand Sierra Resort's Grand Theatre, Reno in Nevada, Cheslie Kryst from North Carolina was crowned the new queen.
She succeeds and was crowned by Miss USA 2018 Sarah Rose Summers who lived her reign with a great bash and relinquished the crown tonight.

Cheslie is a young 27-year-old diva who is a graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Law and Graduate School of Business from where she earned her Juris Doctor degree as well as a Master of Business Administration degree. Cheslie was no stranger to the pageant that she won this year as this was her third attempt to win the Miss North Carolina USA crown. During her free time, Cheslie likes to play the piano, go hiking, run 5Ks and walk in fashion shows.

The gorgeous and multi-talented beauty gleamed brighter in the finale as she won the title, is every bit worthy of it. The newly crowned queen’s court included Alejandra Gonzalez from New Mexico (1st RU) and Triana Browne Oklahoma (2nd RU).

The finale began with the introduction of the hosts Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey. Both the hosts did an absolutely commendable job with their duties and introduced the Top 15 on the stage as the contestants were cut down from 51 to 15 at the beginning of the competition:

The state of North Carolina won Miss USA title after the decade as the last win for the state was in the year 2009. Well, Miss USA 2019 was definitely a success with an organised format, no anticipation and absolutely stellar performances from all the beauties at the pageant.

The event was no less than a star-studded affair as the trio of Miss Universe sisters were present at the finale night. Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Miss Universe 2017 Demi Leigh Nel Peters and Miss Universe 2001 Denise Quiñones made the trio of Miss Universe queens.

I think the new Miss USA will have a good position in the next Miss Universe Pageant.
Why?
Remember that the Miss USA and the Miss Universe are run by the same organization, they decide who will be the finalists and Paula Shugart always has the last word >:)

goddesses were literally ignored. miss usa going to be like miss America. ratings in television very low and now this will make it lower. soon miss usa might be erased from the map. attorney, attorney, attorney, who cares if your not that beautiful. new mexico were right there and Oklahoma. texas didn't even make top 15 and she had a face that could launch a thousand ships and also intelligence. others texas, Arkansas , florida, Minnesota, maryland, ohio, new York, new Hampshire, etc , literally goddesess and even more beautiful than Russian candidates...it would have been bearable if other candidates were dumb but most of them were as intelligent with personality to match.. what a big waste :-O :-O :-O

RENO, Nev. — A 27-year-old lawyer from North Carolina who represents prison inmates for free won the Miss USA title Thursday night, describing herself as a “weird kid” with a “unibrow” who’s now part of the first generation of truly empowered women.

Asked in the final round to use one word to summarize her generation, Cheslie Kryst of Charlotte said “innovative.”

“I’m standing here in Nevada, in the state that has the first female majority legislature in the entire country,” she said at the event held for the first time in Reno. “Mine is the first generation to have that forward-looking mindset that has inclusivity, diversity, strength and empowered women. I’m looking forward to continued progress in my generation.”

New Mexico’s Alejandra Gonzalez, the first runner-up, and Oklahoma’s Triana Browne, the second runner-up, helped highlight the diversity of the competition on stage as the three finalists along with Kryst, who is African American.

Browne said she’s a proud member of the Chickasaw Nation whose father is white and mother is African American. She’s in a partnership with Nike to promote a brand that celebrates Native American heritage. Gonzalez, whose mother immigrated to the United States from Mexico, founded a non-profit that teaches children the importance of being literate.

Nevada’s Tianna Tuamoheloa, who made it to the final five, was the first woman of Samoan descent to compete in the event that dates to 1952. Savannah Skidmore, a former state basketball champion from Arkansas who has a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo and is pursuing a law degree, also made the final five.

Kryst and Gonzalez faced each other holding hands during the moments before the winner was announced, then embraced with the news.

Kryst said she didn’t feel nervous as she advanced through the elimination rounds.

“I just kept hearing my name get called,” she said. As she waited for the winner to be announced, “All I could think was, ‘This is really cool.’ “

Kryst earned a law degree and an MBA at Wake Forest University before becoming a civil litigation attorney who does pro bono work to reduce sentences for inmates. In a videotaped message played during the two-hour event at a hotel-casino, she told a story of when a judge at a legal competition told her to wear a skirt instead of pants because judges prefer skirts.

“Glass ceilings can be broken wearing either a skirt or pants,” Kryst said.

She told reporters afterward she’ll never forget being in law school at Wake Forest participating in a moot court competition in Louisiana with a panel of judges who provided very little feedback to here and her partner.

“We stood there for 30 minutes after practicing for months and all you said was wear a skirt next time?” she said. “It was very frustrating. Don’t tell females to wear different clothes while you give the men substantive feedback on their legal arguments.”

Kryst who advances to the Miss Universe competition, was crowned by 2018 Miss USA Sarah Rose Summers of Nebraska. She said her interest in pageants began when she was 10 years old, watching her mother ride a horse-drawn carriage in a parade when she was named Mrs. North Carolina in 2002.

“It was a time in my life when I didn’t’ know who I was and wasn’t confident in myself. I was that little weird kid who had a unibrow and didn’t have any friends. My hair was always pulled back. I thought I want to be just like her,” she said.

Kryst went on to compete in pageants in high school.

“I can’t say pageants make you beautiful. I think they make your more confident in the person that you are,” she said.

“I’m still that same weird kid. I still like reading books. And at the end of the day, I like to sit by myself in my house and just watch movies. But I think pageants taught me all that, and my mom was really the one who introduced me to that and drew me to pageantry.”

Now, Cheslie Kryst has to prepare to be the face of the Miss USA organization, travel the country, attend charity events, and more. Not to mention, she has the opportunity to represent the United States in the Miss Universe pageant.Image

Not because you're a goddess or the most beautiful does not mean you will win the crown. Intelligence obviously was the main consideration. We need to look beyond the Physical now.

i think that New Mexico would make it better in the universe. If I were a selection committee member, I would have judged the final decision based on the overall performance. New Mexico is very eloquent as well. But must admit that the New Miss USA has a commanding presence when she speaks, well, she's an attorney, that can explain it.

She has a great body and great background. She ain’t clapping at Miss Universe. Plus I love how confident she Is, from the wag she walks to the way she talks. Not the best facially though.

Cheslie Kryst, a 28-year-old attorney from North Carolina, won the 2019 Miss USA pageant on Thursday night; she triumphed over the runner-up, Alejandra Gonzalez of New Mexico, and the second runner-up, Triana Browne of Oklahoma.

All three contestants impressed the judges during the interview round, which co-host Vanessa Lachey noted is the most challenging part of the competition: “A successful Miss USA must be an excellent public speaker and have strong communication skills if she hopes to make a meaningful difference," she said.

It’s true — in recent years, the easiest way for a pageant to go viral is a powerful or controversial answer during the Q&A segment, in which contestants have 30 seconds to formulate eloquent answers to usually very difficult questions.

This year’s Q&A seemed ready to cause a stir, as it touched on politics, gun violence and the #MeToo movement. Here’s the transcript from the top five, who faced questions written by their fellow contestants.

I didnt expect Georgia to make the cut either.
Texas--- i thought prior to the finals, she's too beautiful to become Miss USA, so I didnt root for her. But i was still surprised she didnt make the cut.

The new Miss USA, however, if she's not representing USA, could represent the standards of Bahamas, US Virgin Islands.

Sorry, but she’s nothing special, she will be another at most top 10 placer...it’s just getting kind of repetitive and boring to crown these average looking girls with these lame sob stories about somebody told her to wear a skirt in court, and the judges fell for it hook line and sinker. If they want to lean more towards accomplishment fine but it seems to me they lean that way during the Miss USA competition but still go on to crown stunners at Miss Universe, so which is it? Because there were definitely women there who were both stunning and accomplished, but for some reason the judges don’t seem to pick them.
