Make her be aware of current social events and movements: climate change, human trafficking, me too, HIV, refugees, Amazon wildfire, etc. It doesn’t need to be in English. Vietnamese is good as long as she answers eloquently. Let the interpreter handle the English part. Hope they give her a good interpreter. I believe in Atlanta there are people who can speak both English and Vietnamese perfectly. Also, she should memorize some set phrases like those of Catriona (beam of shining light, passing a burning torch, etc.). Set phrases are ok as long as she doesn’t sound so rehearsed as Catriona
She's aware of these issues, I just don't know what her answers are.
A while ago she said she'd try to answer in English if she can, but not sure if that has changed with Santos joining the table.
I hope there is an episode about Q&A. Just want to see how quickly and eloquently she reacts to a tough question. She doesn’t need to deliver in English. Iris was never good at English but she still won. If Thuy is overconfident with her English and fails to make the cut, sorry i have to quote your phrase “I won’t feel sorry for her ass”.
