People need a concrete evidence from the organization and it is their duty to show that evidence.
They got the highest rating this year, but how about next year? Now that a statement from them finally came out, its about time to prove to everyone that the selection process is fair and square.
come on Miss Universe Org. show us the results.

Miss Universe system is gone, not like those old years back until 1996.
Miss Universe is all about businesses, politics and influences. It is no longer what we think that the contest is all about beauty and brains but all about fashions, businesses, catwalks and so on.
It's a change that we need to accept. World has CHANGED.
That's my opinion.

I agree with you. There should be transparency here. But displaying preliminary scores would just create a snafu especially to those who are supposed to be included in the semifinals roster, but had to be eliminated simply because Donald Trump does not like them.

although it can be a bitter truth , we should accept it . this bullshit contest will get the worst places in the list of Big 5 awards .. i personally think that it deserves more to leave most love on other contests as miss world or miss earth ..
miss earth is clearly fair and miss world is certainly seen of the finalists from people 's choices ..
i really hate Miss universe 2009 contest .. it's suck a bullshit !!!!!

well how about this, why not just remove the veto power of Trump and Co. altogether and let their judges do their work, just like in the old days? MUO is claiming to be fair, but the system itself is not. The process is alone problematic. why would they handpick six of the semi-finalists? what's the rationale behind this? Don't they trust the judges? They have to do something about this, or the pageant is going down the drain.

Who are you, or any of us, to say that they don't deserve it?..U were not a judge... They have the right to choose who they wanna choose!
Gia wrote:Wow, this has no intention of dying down does it? Well, I guess that can be expected when such injustice was commited. I am glad ppl are speaking their minds and the MUO is being made to listen. Ironically, I found in funny that Paula coincidentally didn't mention that the viewership has decreased over 1.5 million since 2007, and only all time high ratings continue in beauty-obsessed Venezuela and that is why they were handed the crown. I hope they are happy with their "fixed" pageant, but I think this time they hadn't anticipatd this sort of backlash, Stefania is thee most bashed winner (thanks for the info Rajat!) I hope they are happy with their "accomplishment" but I think this time they bit off more than they ever intended to chew~! PPL aren't stupid, did they really think they were going to spoon feed us these results like a bunch of mis-informed idiots, and we would just sit there and smile???? WRONG!
