Very easy, in each voting you give 3, 2 and 1 point to the finalists based on your ranking (1st, 2nd and 3rd). That means that now there is a girl with 50 points, other with 25 and other with 21 (those points are not real, it's just an example). Then I do the % calc and that's how you get it.

Got it! I hope the Katarina is the green one. Virginia is yellow, Huong is blue. For obvious reason, Katarina is my queen that is why I want her to be the green one. Virginia should be the yellow picture because she did much better than Huong in terms of the preliminary competition in Miss Universe. Virginia is robbed big time, there were many gorgeous Latinas that year. Huong just overdid her preliminary performance that's why she's not in the Top 15. Even if the continental groupings is there, Huong would not even make it. That's just my two cents. Respect for all the ladies.

I'm going to defend my girl for a second here because I have seen actually bad preliminaries make it to the Top 15/20, Huong was simply robbed.

Virginia had a better preliminary, she actually had one of the best but I knew anyone involved in any livestream controversy during Miss Universe 2018 wasn't gonna place or would atleast get cut before the Top 20. I just knew. Also sadly Virginia had rumors on her attitude that made me realize she wouldn't place. Based on preliminaries, she was atleast Top 10 but yeah she should have never made any livestreams. That's to that whole string of controversies, now theres twice as much control with the social media the girls do.

Katarina is a beautiful woman, should have won Intercontinental not place 1st RU but to win over these other two girls... yeah no sorry =;))

So I had to research a lot and download a lot of pictures from the thread but in Miss Missosology I finished:

Puerto Rico (Monic Perez) was 30th in Prelims but was like chosen as a Darkhorse by the program or something (I forget haha) and in finals she finished 12th

Albania (Angela Martini) was 22th in Prelims
Kosovo (Diana Avdiu) was 39th in Prelims

So this is definitely the best I've done hahaaha

if you ever do the Miss Missosology again I WILL FIGHT anyone for the MISS PR franchise hahahaha I can already plan my girls haha

Great researc The Duchess!! I remembered Monic made it into Top 15 but didn't remember her final placement! And obviously didn't remember Angela's and Diana's result hahahahaa out of the girls who didn't make the cut I just remember Rozanna Purcell because she was 17th and won the If she only was there... award.

Well Miss Missosology was fun but it was also f*** hard to make hahaha and I don't have that time anymore... It would be great if other forumer make it, if so I would take part for sure with Spain!!! But I hardly doubt that happen hahaha

Well... some insight information and personal opinion about the results:

Even though I liked Virginia and was one of my favorites to win I have to say her victory was kind of a surprise for several things. First, she was the less voted as Winner in this last poll. She was voted to win by only 6 out of 35 users, meanwhile Katarina was voted 15 times and Hong 14. So, why did Virginia won? Simply because she was voted as 2nd for 25 out of 35 users and 3rd by only 3 users, meanwhile Katarina was voted last 15 times and Huong 17. She was clearly benefitted by the AVERAGE score so, despite I like her, her victory is a little bittersweet for me because if I would have decided to make another voting system (just voting for your favorite contestant to win, with no ranking) she would have placed 3rd with only 17,14% far away from Huong's 40% and Katarina's 42,86%. This is something I learnt from this game that probably will change in the next one.

Even though I'm satisfied with the results I couldn't be 100% sure that all the votes were fair and square because nothing will avoid fake accounts of writting a Misso nickname and vote under it falsely. I got to say that the amazing turn of events really made me suspicious about the veracity of the voters, because at first Katarina was far away from the other with only 20% and Huong was easily leading with more than 40%, but since yesterday the 95% of the votes were: 1. Katarina / 2. Virginia / 3. Huong. Call me paranoid but it seemed strange for me, and mostly because Katarina is from Philippines and we all know Misso is full of people from Philippines, so I couldn't help to think if those votes were real or just someone fixing them... Anyway, that's another thing I learnt and, in order to not be suspicious anymore, the Runner Ups poll will be private and I personally will invite users from all the world to vote, this way I can verify if those who voted are real Misso users. Don't get me wrong, I love Katarina and Philippines but this trend (Katarina being last and dramatically surpassing her opponent/s at last minute) happened several times so I couldn't help to think something fishy was happening there... That's why I'm happy she didn't win (although she was the most voted to do) because if she did I would always think it wasn't a fair and square victory. Virginia's win isn't perfect (because of the average thing) but she actually leadered the Semifinal and Quarter Final Overall Rankings (when you had to rank all the Top 10 and Top 6 contestants in order to decide who finished in which placement and who was the Wildcard), so actually I think her victory is well deserved.

You know my favorite was Huong, but still happy with her placement.

Later I will post the Overall Ranking Results (Quarter Finals, Semifinals and Final) so you can check everything, there will be some surprises, let me tell you...

Postby SENYORA GAGA » Mon May 04, 2020 9:40 pm

My suggestion for the upcoming battle of runners-up goes like this. Btw, MissSimUniverse, please use runnerS-up next time instead of runner-upS.

Round 1: Multiple Choice Round
143 candidates divided into 12 groups, 11 groups having 12 candidates while 1 group has 11 candidates.
The Top 3 would advance, meaning a total 36 (3*12) candidates will have a fasttrack on to the next round. The 7 least voted or 6 in the group with only 11 candidates would be immediately eliminated. The 4th and 5th placers on all 12 groups will fight for another 8 slots for the next round, there would be 24 (2*12) candidates in total. These 24 candidates would be randomly group into 2 groups having 12 candidates each. The Top 4 in each group would advance. All in all, that would total 44 candidates moving on the next round.

Round 2: Versus Round Part 1
44 candidates will battle in 1vs1. There would be 22 battles then. The winners will advance, while the losers will be eliminated.

Round 3: Versus Round Part 2
22 candidates will again battle in 1vs1. There would be only 11 battles. The winners will advance, while the losers would fight for 5 wildcard slots in the coveted Top 16 via ranking all the 11 who lost the battle. The top 5 in the ranking would join the 11 versus part 2 winners to compete the Top 16. Through the ranking, we will know who was in 17th to 22nd place.

Round 4: Versus Round Part 3
16 candidates will again battle in 1vs1. There would be 8 battles. The winners will advance, while the losers would fight for another 2 wildcard slots, again via ranking all the 8 who lost the battle. The top 2 in the ranking would join the 8 versus part 3 winners to complete the Final 10. Through the ranking, we will know who was in 11th to 16th place.

Round 5: Versus Round Part 4
10 candidates will again battle in 1vs1. There would be 5 battles. The winners will advance, while the losers would fight for the lone and final wildcard, again via ranking all the 5 who lost the battle. The winner in the ranking would join the 5 versus part 4 winners to complete the Final 6. Through the ranking, we will know who was in 7th to 10th place.

Round 6: Versus Round Part 5
6 candidates will again battle in 1vs1. There would be 3 battles. There would be ranking all the Final 6. The winners of the battle will advance. Through the ranking, we will know who was in 4th to 6th place.

Final Round: Ranking Round
Ranking all the Final 3 with point system as follows, 4-2-1 points instead of 3-2-1 given to the Top 1-2-3. This pointing system would definitely give a much fairer results.

THIS IS JUST MY SUGGESTION.
I love numbers, I love transparency of votes. I love statistics. I love ranking.

Thank u so much SENYORA GAGA! Well, this sounds great but I already have the graphics prepared with the voting system and everything (which looks similar at some points with yours actually...). The only thing is that I won't have so many rounds and Wildcards selection because if I do it will last forever and I'm starting to work in a few weeks so... no way I can handle such a long competition. Anyway thank u so much for the suggestion, actually it is kinda similar with some changes. You'll see!

I'm opening a NEW THREAD today or tomorrow for the new competition guys! I hope more people comment and make this more entertaining as COMMENTING AND BEING ACTIVE ON THE THREAD WILL MAKE YOU ELIGIBLE AS JURY! You all don't have to worry (the ones who took part in this game and are active on it) you already ARE part of the jury!

The 5th Miss Missosology Competition is back!

Congratulations Virginia Limongi! Never doubted you. You were robbed big time in Miss World 2014, and double big time in Miss Universe 2018. Thank you pageant fans for making Virginia win. Let's celebrate.

Is Nawat dethroned Madison for competing and won 1st runner up in Miss Universe 2019? Your thoughts guys.

I remembered Miss Australia being dethroned as Miss Gwand International 2015 when she joined local search or qualifications for Miss Universe Australia.

As we know Nawat does not want his pageant to be training ground for the Big Four pageants.

So who's Miss Gwand 2015? Vartika? But Vartika also participated in Miss Universe!

I think Nawat dethroning people out of pride is absolutely ridiculous but I'm actually surprise he hasn't said anything, NOW I do think that with this COVID 19 issue if Madison (not saying it would happen) for any reason became Miss Universe 2019 or 2020 I do think Nawat will probably do something about it because again PRIDE
