Part 1: Nudity and Pornography

Prior to Ariska and Kevin's win at Miss Gwand International 2016 and Miss International 2017 respectively, there were some religious leaders are against holding female beauty pageants just like what they did at Miss World 2013. Also there were some Arab countries who did not send their candidates at female pageants but there were some countries who sent to several male pageants.
Few months ago, someone claimed that Sonia Beytoushi was "appointed" as "Miss Universe Iran" on social media, then some netizens claimed that she was a "contender" from Africa-Asia Pacific that might shake up the Top 20 list at that time. But her supposed participation was abruptly ended when Missosology posted a FB post that Iran doesn't have a license to compete at Miss Universe pageant.
One of the netizens from a pageant fanpage commented that Iran can't compete at Miss Universe because of religious reasons. The current Iranian government banned beauty pageants and also disallowed women to remove hijab/scarf or face imprisonment. Had MUO awarded the license to Iran, will it cause more tensions between the US and Iranian government since they have a long history of political and diplomatic conflicts?
If MUO wanted diversity just like accepting transgenders with legally female status at the pageant, do you think MUO should accept these countries at the pageant?
